Subitizing Bingo Is a “Winner” With Students!

Our small group subitizing bingo games are a great way to gamify learning in your classroom. Two versions are available — one for numbers 1 – 5 and another for numbers 6 – 10. Students will engage with numbers represented in many forms and then subitize the quantity to match it to a numeral on their bingo card.

Both bingo games include:

  • Eight spring-themed bingo cards
  • Eight fall-themed bingo cards
  • Eight matching sets of calling cards
  • Instructions

Students can play this game in groups of two to eight. It is an ideal activity for centers, indoor recess, or small group learning.

Multiple Number Representations for Varied Practice

When teaching students to subitize, it is important to expose them to multiple forms that a number can take to promote cognitive flexibility. Don’t worry—this resource contains five different number representations to do just that!

These number forms are represented:

  • Base ten blocks
  • Tallies
  • Fingers
  • Snap cubes
  • Ten frames

Playing this game is a fun way to get students mentally ready to subitize objects in the real world.

Download, Print, and Bin-GO!

Our subitizing bingo games are available in both easy-to-use PDF and Google Slides format. Use the drop-down arrow located on the download button to choose the option that works best for you.

Longevity Tip: Print the games on cardstock and then laminate them to use this activity with your small groups for years.
