Locate and explore different vegetation zones around the world with this mapping worksheet.
What Are Vegetation Zones?
Vegetation is just a fancy word for “plant!” Different types of plants have different preferences for climatic and environmental factors such as soil type, rainfall, and temperature. This means that different vegetation can be found in different locations around the world, depending on how hot or cold it is, or how wet or dry it is. Areas that contain similar types of plants are referred to as “vegetation zones.”
