Let’s Sort it Out: Verbal or Nonverbal Communication?

Take your students’ social and personal learning to a new level by sharing this easy, fun and active communication sorting game! 

To play, students will:

• Sort the cards based on whether they show an example of verbal or nonverbal communication. 
• Complete the Student Recording Sheet.
• Check their work with the Answer Key.

This download includes two heading cards, 24 cards, a student recording sheet, and an answer key. 

Through this activity, students will learn the difference between verbal and nonverbal communication techniques, and scenarios where they are appropriate to employ.
